Does anyone have access to a photo of Raimu?
Never heard of the man, but I did find this picture.
This is one film I could see over and over again. Perhaps it is available on DVD.

Another one I haven't seen or, if I did, it was so long ago I don't remember.
I'm going to look for it on NetFlix. Thanks
Letty, you're getting good on Google.
Gotta be Bobby.
Other actors I admire are, Dustin Hoffman and Billy Bob Thornton.

Who do you think is the best?
Yes! James Woods is excellent and JennyM mentioned Gary Oldman who I also rate.
Two performances easily place Dustin Hoffman at the top of my lists:
"The Graduate"
"All the President's Men"
"Ishtar" couldn't even drag him down. Nor Warren Beatty for that matter.
Don't forget Marathon Man.
**** I almost forgot Jack Nicholson.
Gene Hackman is also a fine actor.
Ah, yes -- "The French Connection." He's succumb to some not first rate box office motivated action flicks in the past decade, but he'll always stand out.
I still appreciate him as a villain as much as the hero, especially in "The Firm." Man, was he the unctuous bastard in that film!
Anyone mention Val Kilmer? He is excellent, and I love Peter Ustinov.
Mr. Wizard, I had a lot of good teachers when it came to learning how to do pictures.
Oh, are you a Sunday painter now?
The best actor of all time would have to be Chuck Connors, of Rifleman fame.
But... who am I to say?
Can't compete with them Italians, oh, Wizard of light. They paint ceilings better than anyone I know.
I've painted a fairly mean ceiling in my time, Letty.
I recall the time Green Witch begged me to cease all activities.
But... that was another time... another place. Perhaps things like that would be best left unsaid.

With or without a roller?
