He may be an extraterrestrial walk-in - as is the creator of this great piece of art, ZaKaiRan, whose body was originally inhabited by Kevin.

Wait, that's supposed to be jesus?!?

It is an arbitrary picture of the erroneously "worshiped" Mother of Jesus the SON of God...

Kind of with an Indian Yogi flair... Smile Not a good depiction of a halo I guess...

Or the "son" rise...

The ministry of Christ which lasted one calendar year...

Why? Because he's slow and has trouble modulating his voice?

I think it's important to remember that, whatever book Lady Liberty is holding, Divine Emperor Bush was appointed by God.

It is God who calls us to continually elect Satanists and fascists to office.

Why put a statue on an island and place her back to the people whom she is supposed to be illuminating? If not for a deeper purpose to lead people to the easter star who is Christ Jesus?

Uh, because she's welcoming those weak and destitute immigrants.

Ole Billy boy certainly used the office for his own pleasure. I voted for Bush Sr...

Bill Clinton smiled too much. Beware of those who use a smile to mask their true intentions.

While she turns her back on her own people?

She is representing us in welcoming them. Yes, her back is to us.

Who said (other than Rex) that the statue is intended to be illuminating the American people?

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

As the poem by Emma Lazarus shows (and as Lil' Kay has pointed out) the flame she holds in her hand is a beacon to those who are coming here--there's no reason to consider it an attempt to "illuminate" the American people.

Rex, if you're not already on drugs, you should be.

While smiling is indeed offensive, I'm also slightly leery of those who conduct illegal wars, torture, domestic spying, etc.

Easter Star?

Easter is the latinized transliteration of the word Astarte. Good Grief.

Emma pretends to know the intent of the statues builders.

Just as you apparently assume to know the heart of the true God...

Again your poisonous insult only reflects your small brain size...
