Is there a website (or other source) for old newspaper and magazine articles?

(I know that some publications have their own web sites and allow the user to purchase at least some of the old articles. However, sometimes I want an article that is not online by the publisher.)

Will any vendors snail mail or e-mail it to a purchaser?

gollum ~ have you tried your local library yet? I think that's going to be your best bet.

http://catalog.loc.gov/

http://www.copyright.gov/

Maybe these two links will help.
