(A) If you joined yesterday's game, you would win.

(B) If you had joined yesterday's game, you would win.

(C) If you had joined yesterday's game, you would have won.



Which ones are correct?

I guess sentence (A) can also be correct when saying it I don't feel pity or sorry, and just state a past condition. Does it make any sense?

Maybe I've mixed several rules up. Waiting for your illuminating clarification. Thank you very, very much!!

Tenses must match!

(A) If you joined (simple past) yesterday's game, you would win (future in the past).

No match

(B) If you had joined (past perfect) yesterday's game, you would win(future in the past).

No match

(C) is the only correct sentence

If you had joined (past perfect) yesterday's game you would have won (past perfect subjunctive)
