@Barry The Mod,
I was told that it'd be safer not to attract attention to myself by wearing a whistle that screams, "HEY! Here's a tourist! Come and get me wolves of NYC."

When in Rome... and when in NYC ...(works as well).

Now that today is over with and I'm relaxing by the brilliant light of the computer, here is another batch of NYC culture action:

Bonne appetite!

@tsarstepan,
Terrific show. Loved Penny looking down on the entry hall at the Met.

oh, and many of the rest of them. Do you remember the name of the gallery with the Hirst stuff? Did anyone ask you what you were doing photoing Penny Hamster?

Looking forward to Roosevelt Island.

@ossobuco,
Sorry about that. The Damien Hirst exhibit was at the Upper Eastside Gagosian Gallery - www.gagosian.com - 980 Madison Ave.

No one asked me about photographing Penny, but I did get a few quick smiles.

Didn't go to Roosevelt Island today. Instead spent the entire day watching season 5 of Doctor Who. We'll save the walking trip to next weekend.

She can't wait until the latest season, season 6, comes out on DVD or streaming somewhere on the internet.

They weren't all THAT Doctor, were they?

He's not my favourite. Bring back David Tennant!

@margo,
When it comes to Doctor Who, Amy Pond is my ideal mentor.

Went to the gym after work in order to coach Tsarstepan in his workout:

Walking home, we took a meandering tour of the nooks and crannies along the way.

Tsarstepan tried to set up the next set of photographs via the typical slideshow but photobucket is tripping up on this set of photos for some unknown reason:

Hopefully this album works for you guys.

@PennyAroundTheWorld,
Those lions are a bit scary.

And - behind bars? What did she do to warrant that?

Good trip otherwise

@PennyAroundTheWorld,
So many of those are wonderful, Tsar and Penny. Such a brave hamster you are, Penny. And Mr. Tsar put a lot of effort into making your day full of adventure.

@ossobuco,
Went to the gym after work then had an early dinner at Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

After that went and watched Woody Allen's film Midnight in Paris
http://s1190.photobucket.com/albums/z455/tsarstepan/Pennys%20PreApocalyptic%20Friday%20Evening/

After the film (ending at 9:00PM), Tsar and me walked around NYC for 3 and a half hours. Got home at about 12:45ish.
