In Fez, we got to see some street performers as they went through the narrow corridors playing their music for us. One guys face is blurry because he is twirling his tassel by wobbling his head.

No cars in the streets of Fes. This donkey is one of many used to carry goods through the streets to the different stores and workshops. He is standing outside a shop that sells beautiful lamps and lanterns and chandeliers and such made from brass and other metals.

Fez is known for its dyed leather products. They have been using the same dying techniques for centuries. We climbed up on the roof of one of the leather stores through a staircase in the back and could see everything from there. It was really amazing.

This is a huge silver bowl made by hand in one of the workshops of the medina. The tree behind the bowl must be very very old.

We went to many beaches in Morocco. The first one was in Mehdia, a town near Kenitra. We got there before just in time to catch the sunset from huge sandy dunes. It was still too cold to swim so nobody was there but us.

We went to a traditional restaurant in Fez. It was beautiful and they did traditional Moroccan meals. Unfortunately, it was probably a little too touristy because the food wasnt very good, but it was a good place to take pictures of a typical Moroccan meal.

The restaurant:

The table -- just the salads:

We must wash our hands first since we eat with them:

Ourika is a beautiful place south of Marrakech with rivers and waterfalls and cool little footbridges. Its fantastic for hiking.

This restaurant has pretty fantastic outdoor seating.

The area between Marrakech, Agadir, and Essouira (makes kind of a triangle) is known for Argane which is a tree that makes an olive-sized nut that is used for making oil for cooking and cosmetics. It is the only place in the world that has it. They make the oil by hand.

Essaouira is the San Francisco of Morocco. It is roughly 65 degrees year round and is known for fishing. They make boats there and its the sardine capital of the world. Its a very cool town to visit.

We saw these afro trucks a lot. We finally figured out that they are carrying feed for sheep and cattle.

Also saw lots of oversized hay trucks. It was the harvest season.

View from the roof of Mr. Ducks moms house (sorry, my apostrophe is not working). She lives above an old gas station the Mr. Ducks dad built many years ago. It is now a tire shop, indicated by the two tires that you see standing upright. Thats the sign for tire shop.
