How do you know it's Penny???

It might be that blow-up, well-built, boy doll you asked me to get for you! Twisted Evil

I'm perfectly capable of blowing up REAL men, thank you very much.

From her smart phone inside the package, Penny just e-mailed me a picture she painted while waiting for dlowan to hop her lazy bunny bottom to the post office. It's titled: "Interior of a parcel inside a PO box, at night."

Sorry Penny........a bunny can only hop as fast as she can.

I hope Penny enjoys the illuminating effects of sensory deprivation.

I hear some great stuff can happen.

Its all no worries (he! he! Dadpad taught me that). I have managed to gnaw my way out of the parcel dadpad put me in. Boy it was a bit squishy in there. My tummy is all flattened out though which is kinda nice.

I also found the lunchroom in this post office and there is plenty to eat. Then I managed to start this computer but i better not post too often in case they notice something.

I really really hope you come pick me up soon cause there are some pretty frightening noises during the day.

Had to check out the hamsters April 1st fun. Penny is "Cher's Love Child."

Deb is a "Radical Vegetarian."

(Hey, that's good news for us. We can stop listening to her roars.)

Username--

Nope.

Of course pure cellulose would be disrupting to a well-run rodent's digestive system.

Sadly, Penny is still in durance vile and likely to stay that way, as I can see no spaces in my diary where I could get to work late enough, or leave work early enough, to be able to pick her up.

It's Monday here, and my diary is impossible all of this week, but looks better the following week.

By the time she is released, she'll probably be suffering PTSD. Fortunately, she will be in good hands.

Yes......I am worrying about her mental condition, too.

What's her head stuffed with, I wonder? Is it a strong, natural fibre?

I wouldn't be surprised if Penny doesn't hitch a ride to Lhasa or sneak another peek at the Olympic preparations. After all, she'll probably never be as close to Asia again.

My computer monitor screen self-destructed on Tuesday.

After I pick Penny up, I can post a bit from here (work)...but no photies.

May be a while before I can be around from home.

I suppose that this is Penny's biggest adventure until now: being a sanctity of the mail.

We have an exchange student! His name is Danny.

I thought we'd share his adventures in the non-Penny interval.

He arrived today along with a bunch of other Oz goodies and some Vegemite!

He's kind of clingy but very sweet. Found a perch in sozlet's hair right away.

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/sozobe/koalacropped.jpg

He urged us to try some Vegemite. I remembered it from England and tried to prepare sozlet. (Emphasis on that it's not at all chocolatey or Nutella-y despite appearances -- salty and strong.) She liked the first bite. And the second. But after a few more bites (and several gulps of water) she decided it was a bit too strong for her. We gave the rest to Danny.

While it's fall back home, it's spring here, and Danny climbed some local flora:

Magnolia

Daffs (he's in there, look for the blue hat)

Violets (where he's bedded down) in front of unnamed bulbs.

Beautiful day again, if not as sunny. Balmy and lovely...
