Excellent Walter! I loved every minute and am sure Penny did, too.

I really loved Penny, sniff, sniff. And now she is alone with those yellow DHL men, sniff, sniff, sniff.

It is raining outside again today, but I will take some pictures around town tomorrow. It should clear up a little by then.

Walter sent lots of notes and materials along with Penny. I will try to do the same.

And I'm really relieved - she hates being alone for such a long time!

She'll have plenty of company here, Walter, as soon as she gets over her jet lag. :wink:

To be clear -- I've mentioned it a few times but I don't know if I've ever given the run-down on it -- I sent along a small but thickish notebook with Penny. I wrote instructions on the first page. I hope that anyone who sees Penny will feel free to write something in the book, not just the host. The main point of it is for people who get Penny to be able to read back on her adventures so far, and see the handwriting etc. of previous hosts. The secondary point is to have a record for sozlet, when Penny gets home -- however, I'll read through it first and if it's not suitable, I'LL keep it. ;-) (As in, don't worry TOO much about propriety.)

Penny is helping me pack today. She and I will fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico early tomorrow morning...6 a.m. flight.

But she'll still stay up late to see the big fireworks display at the river tonight. I think. Are hamsters afraid of loud bangs? Hmm. Penny doesn't strike me as the timid type.

She's intrepid.
