Bush just vetoed funds for the troops.

YES!!!!!!!!!!
The reason I say that is because we finally have a President who says what he is going to do and does it. He means what he says.
It doesn't mean I agree or disagree with what he does. I am just happy to finally see a politician not skirt a question without giving an answer. About time.

Reading your post directly after dyslexia's post is kind of ironic, don't you think?
I am also glad we now finally have a Congress that says what it is going to do, and then does it.

Oh... my... God!
That is so funny I could not have made it up by jamming a two foot caterpillar into my hukka and smoked it to a crisp.
Does it not dawn on you that George Bush's veto rests on being exactly against that which you are cheering him? Having the politicians in Congress follow through on their words and declare by law that they actually would do what they say?
What a maroon.

I am SO happy to see someone come out with it and refer to this color by name. I get so tired of people who skirt around the color by calling it a shade of red or almost purple.
That doesn't mean I like or dislike the color maroon. I am just happy to finally see someone correctly identify it.
About time!

To paraphrase Dr King, I hope someday to live in a land that cares more for the color of a man's character than the color of his skin.
And make no mistake, a maroon is not a quadroon.

Vlad the Impaler said what he meant and did what he said he was going to do.
So did Hitler.
They had a small but deeply disturbed and ignorant group of followers....
