Suggest alternative treatment

There was a lot of really good information on the thread you started about your son's asthma.

I don't think that there are really any good alternative treatments but this is one situation where an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

The best way is to see a board-certified pulmonologist.

Um... board certified pediatricians are fine and dandy.... we treat an incredible amount of asthma. Being a physician that HAS asthma, I consider myself somewhat more than adequate for the vast majority of asthma cases.

The comment about prevention couldn't be more spot-on.

The advances in asthma care since I was a wee tot have been impressive.

I suggest you use them.
