What are some other ways of calling someone "stupid"? Example:
1. "He's not the sharpest tool in the shed", "He's a pickle short of a barrel", "His dipstick doesn't touch his oil" "He's not playing w/a full deck" etc.?
The lights are on, but nobody's home.
The lift doesn't go all the way to the top. (lift=elevator)
One sandwich short of picnic
Thick as two short planks
Not the brightest lamp in the street
He bathes in the moisture of your soiled and bloodstained underwear.

"He's not playing with a full deck" doesn't refer to someone who's stupid. It refers to someone who's crazy.
Not the brightest bulb in the chandelier.
Not the fastest ship in the armada.

Same with the first two examples on my list, come to think of it. Slightly deranged, anyway.
