I usually do not blog like this but to be honest I am desperate for help. I have a congestion problem at the moment and I have a speech tomorrow. I have done all of the salt water and medicine and all that has helped my nose to get unstuffed. The only problem left is my voice still sounds congested when I pronounce N or M. I need a quick solution because it is 2 am central time and my speech is at 3 pm tomorrow afternoon. Like I said before I have tried salt water, pressure points, medicine, and spray but nothing has fixed my voice. I hope it is possible to cure and does not just take time so please if you know a solution respond. Thank you.
Have you tried an over-the-counter decongestant? They work. Talk to your pharmacist. Pharmacists usually enjoy giving advice.
Thanks to Meth Makers, the good OTC stuff is usually behind the counter--but available without a Rx.
Good luck with your speech--and welcome to A2K.
One of the best of those was Robitussin PE. It may still be out there, behind someone's counter. It's a combination of pseudoephidrine and gaifanessin (pardon my spelling).
