I've never heard the term Virginia Blossom.
Its what they call a type of grass here but im sure its actually called something else.. It is purplish in color and has tiny white flowers.. I have a couple of patches in my yard and i dont want it to spread.. A guy here at work sprayed his whole yard with round up and it still came back, then he dug up whole yard and re sodded and guess what, it still came back..
I think that about then I'd pave over my yard and paint it green.
The best weed killer I've found is called crossbow, you can get it at a farm supply store.
