Well that did not last long. You guys know I have been helping people with their taxes and I am working on one. I could not believe it. Unreal. Why me?

A tax program says WA state can deduct ........ and I said "SAY WHAT"!!!!

Not that I have ever heard. Did the rules change? I used my resources and
the person I spoke with and told them said "SAY WHAT"!!!!!
I started laughing and I said that is what I said. They said you can't do that.

I said the major program says you can and it is in writing. They said they have in writing from a major company saying otherwise. The IRS is specific on their meaning. The State is not. So now that means (the state dept. is closed-weekend) one of these multi-million dollars companies is wrong.
Which one?
I plan to find out.

Actually, sorry Marlboro, I was down to 5 cigarettes a day. That just cost me one. So it will be 6 today.
