Help Needed on Marlboro Contest IV

I realize that this may rub some people to wrong way, but others would like to know a few things, so I will update.

I received my letter from DL Blair, day before yesterday. They've completed background checks and I have confirmation that I will be going to the Ranch. As a side note, not all 20 teams that were originally contacted, will be going to the Ranch. As stated in the original mailing from Blair, I believe they will be contacting alternate teams to go in their stead. Again, this is going on information that they originally sent.

But then again, they got the dates of the Ranch trip wrong, too.

I will be receiving the sign-up sheet for the activities that can be done at the Ranch, on Monday~ish. They were sent out today.

Just as an FYI, Marlboro waited two years between OWTW2 and OWTW3. Not that it's what they are doing this time, it's just what they did previoulsy.

Again, I hope this doesn't tick anyone off, I just thought that some people would want to know.

And as another FYI, I did not lurk on this site. I offered many insights as well as getting help from others. I did not receive only. Those who state that are wrong. Anyone can see my previous posts. I just thought I would make my disclaimer before I'm accused of being a lurker.

Thanks for your help. I hope you have appreciated mine. But please, be happy for me as I would for you. It takes a lot of the joy out of it when the people that you worked with on the contest, stab you in the back for actually getting somewhere with it.

Congratulations on getting to go to the Ranch and I wish you luck on being the grand prize winner.
Not that it matters, but OWTW2 was in 2005 and as we all know OWTW3 was in 2006, I'm not aware of when OWTW1 was held. So hopefully OWTW4 will be coming along shortly.

Getting old can be a bitch (female dog btw so I am spelling the word out) in certain areas. Overall there is nothing wrong with getting older imo.
