Many women have been concerned with the bad press that has been given to hormone replacement therapy, and have stopped using it. A number have tried black cohosh, a natural herb that is reputed to lessen the physical effects of menopause.
Now a study has concluded that black cohosh may exascerbate certain cancers. According to this study, the substance may cause a heretofore unknown cancer to become more deadly:

And I just went bought a bottle of black cohosh infusion. It's been in the cabinet foe weks and I still haven't tried it, and now I never may.
dream2020- It looks like a lot more research is necessary, but in the meantime, if it were me, I would not fool around with the stuff!

There's nothing good for you. My grandma wil be 99 in January. She smokes 2 packs a day and eats nothing but fat. She says, "do whatever the hell you want and don't worry about it". Go ahead and take a dab of black cohosh. Live a little
Or not, as the case may be.
I guess we'll have to add black cohosh to meat, sugar substitues, dairy, poulty, fertilizer, dust mites, alcohol, preservatives, tobacco, caffeine, salad dressing and everything else that causes cancer.
