To be serious for a mo (I really DO like Rabbits you know) She (Guinness) caught and killed four Squirrels the first week I had her off the lead. It's in her genes, and I cant blame her after being two years cooped up in a Rescue Centre.
Soooo, I put the bell on, and not only has she been unable to catch anything (she sounds like Rudolph on amphetamines) but I can locate her easily when she disappears off in the woods.
So all the little fluffy creatures are safe once again.

I still like Civet though....sorry !

Don't be mean to poor Oscar, deb. They do that when they're overly anxious and stressed. Give him some extra lovin'.

Crossing my fingers for dear Miranda.

A pill applicator, huh? Yes, I will have to ask for one of those the next time she needs medicine. (Hopefully that will be a long, long time...)

Oh - both are getting lots of loving.

Miranda has developed a definite list to port - and her head is inclined to the left, too - and boy, such hysterics when she has her anti-inflammatory.

Still happy - and seems a little more speedy when she moves around.....still eating well.

Crossing fingers that there is noticeable improvement soon. It is like Nadia Komanesc (????spelling - you know, the fabulous gymnast) having a stroke. My bouncy, floaty, aerialist pussy cat is earthbound.

I've been thinking about Miranda ever since I read your post yesterday. It is so sad. I do hope she improves soon.

((((HUGS TO BOTH OF YOU))))

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, poor Miranda ... I sure hope she gets over this thing, whatever it is, and gets back to where she was. I hate to think of her feeling "What the hell was that?" as she toddles across the floor ... !!!

Hugs going out to you!

Oh good! Very Happy

And does this mean Oscar has stopped leaving little messages in your bed, Deb?

He'd better shut right up, or it's off the balcony for him.

well there were the 2 'accidents' Paddy had when first allowed in the bedroom - he wee'd on the duvet - was told off but was only little and didn't quite get the message.

Second time I was UNDER the d*** duvet and I think that the message got through loud and clear that time. Evil or Very Mad

He's not done it again but was barred from the bedroom for weeks after that.

I'm really glad Miranda is showing signs of improvement. Very Happy

Nice to see Margo here!!!

Actually, shitting on the quilt is better than pissing. Turds you can remove easily, and they leave no mark, generally - and nothing to remember them by when the bedding is washed - put cat piss!!!! EWwwwwww.

Almost impossible to get the smell out!

How did you do it, Vivien?

I am soo excited!! Cinder is getting a little friend!!! His mother had another litter of Kittens and I am taking one!! Her name will be Ella... (cinderella hehehe i am mean!) We are going to pick her out today and then we are getting her in 2 weeks!!!!

Cinder is almost 6 months old now, does anyone know how he will react to have another cat in the house, especially a kitten that is only 8 weeks and the opposite sex? I just don't want him to beat her up and hurt her when I am at work!

Also should I get the kitten her own litter box or will they share?

Any tips for helping them get along together and not getting Cinder Jealous? Thanks muchly!!!

How exciting, Crazielady420! A kitten! awwwwwwwwwww Very Happy

My understanding is that, so long as they are not of the same sex, things should go swimmingly. But, think seriously before contemplating a third feline. Apparently three definitely IS a crowd when it comes to cats! Good luck!
