When I return home, Mikey doesn't move. He does not in any way acknowledge that I'm there--or that I was missing. Doesn't that warm the cockles of your heart?

Deb, I'm glad your two were happy to see you.

BTW, I had to stop Mikey from kneading on me. He left bruises. Big black and blue marks. What a guy.

Just picked up two ecstatic cats from the boarding place.

I have two fur stoles - won't let me move - purring and gazing at me - kneading my shoulders and lap....lots of talking and paws reaching out to touch my face.

At least until the sun reaches the cat perch or the sofas!!!!!

Ah, how lovely, Deb! Very Happy Isn't it wonderful to be so adored, so revered ....?

It palls a little, it palls.

The limpid, blue, moist, eyes gazing up at me....the insistence of checking up on me every few minutes (when I am home).....the cries when I am out of sight for too long....the little paws reaching out.

I shall soon have to vomit, I fear.

However, it was lovely to see them stretched out in today's glorious sun (26 C) purring ecstatically up at me....aaah - hark - I hear oscar howl now - it seems he has not seen me for FIVE MINUTES!!!!

I think that's Mikey's way of displaying his affection for you, Roberta. He has different ways of doing these things. Laughing

Olga, I know it was his way of displaying affection. He's just too big and strong to display affection that way. Ouch.

Poor Roberta! Why can't he just gaze at you adoringly like Deb's critters? Has he done any of his sneak biting attacks in the night recently?

Olga, Yes, another sneak attack two days ago. I'm living with a maniac.

Deb, Eh means not great. I feel ok. Experiencing some money problems. Yes, I'm working. Also another reason for the eh. I don't like working. The past year has been especially stressful. So I'm eh. What can I tell ya, kid.

I've said it before & I'll say it again, Roberta: It is extremely hard to believe that the oh so innocent looking creature in your avatar could do such things. Surprised
Just as well he has his endearing moments, too, huh?

Olga, Yes, Mikey can be loving. He likes to hold my hand (paw in hand). He likes to be near me. He likes to lick my hand. But mostly he's a pain in the ass.

But he's YOUR pain in the arse, Roberta! Your cross to bear! Laughing
Anyway, I think he's absolutely irresistible! It's that black pot on his nose that does it for me. Very Happy

Roberta, some kitties like to hold hands, so does my Paddy. Right now he's laying in front of me, on the desk, with his paw in my hand. He also likes to lay with his cheek in my hand ......... dontcha just love it?

Misti, Yes, I do. Mikey also likes it when I cup his head in my hand. No hand or head holding today. Mikey's busy. There's a fly in my apartment. I hope he doesn't hurt himself trying to get it.

Olga, the dash of tabby on Mikey's nose is irresistible. Your mentioning it reminds me of the first time I saw him. Giant lily pads for feet, tiny body, spot on nose. He was walking down the hallway in the vet's office. Turned to hiss and spit and a cat three times his size. Then proceeded on his way. Sigh. I was hooked.
