That's a link to the subscription page, Joe . . .

Fortunately, it seems we've been spared yet another descent into the hellish realm of cats . . .

Hope your little monsters are enjoying the long weekend with you, Miss Olga . . .

Hmm....this room smells like fish. I suppose that's appropriate for Easter weekend though.

The weather is getting cooler in Melbourne. Some nights are downright cold for autumn. This means that Flatty is settling into winter slob mode. He's either sleeping, sitting on me for warmth the minute I sit down, or else eating .... Not much else to his day, apart from doing flip flops on the lawn on warm mornings. I would love my life to be so simple, so uncomplicated!

Tonight I roasted a chicken for dinner, which drove him into a frenzy. The smell of roasting chicken does it every time! He wants some, now! He sits & meows plaintively, follows me around, plants himself in my path so I'm continually tripping over him .... this can go on for ages till he finally gets what he wants. Yum, chicken! Very Happy

Yes, he got his chicken, Urs. Evil or Very Mad It's really impossible to say no! The evening would have been hell.

I like the Vietnamese meow. Very sweet. Very Happy
My cat was a homeless inner-city street cat, so I suppose he speaks in Oz slang: Something like "G'day, meow!" Laughing

How are those 2 spoilt critters of yours, Urs? Enjoying spring?

Rose is an almost silent cat apart from appalling swearing when she isn't put down when she wants to be Rolling Eyes

she rarely miaows at all. Our previous cats were really chatty and my daughters cats both are so it seems really strange.

Even when she wants you she just sits silently waiting to be noticed or ... bites your toes Shocked .... that works as an attention grabber pretty well.

Msolga, Nisse and Mysan are great. Finally there are some bugs flying around in our appartment that they can chase. And Nisse absolutely enjoys being brushed. With all the hair he's losing I try to do it at least once a day.

And they talk a lot! I can't figure out whether it is German or Swedish...

I reckon BD's been teaching them swear words in Swedish! Twisted Evil

Possum is a talking cat - and - if I don't pay attention, he really lets me know. Biting and scratching are his next attention getters! Evil or Very Mad We do seem to have a lot of conversations about food, though Confused

I learned something today. I heard that cats and humans are the only mammals who consciously torture their prey. Is this true? I am but a humble student of felines and torture.

the difference is that the cats are 'playing', whereas the humans are in earnest!
