I have to respond to it but I have no clue what does it mean!! help guys!!
A context would be helpful. What is the statement referring to?

I agree with Roberta, context would help.
Correlation and expected outcomes makes me think it is science related.
If it is a comment on a science paper or about an experiment then it would mean it didn't meet what is normally required in science. The experiment should have some correlation to make a conclusion. The experiment should increase the knowledge about the subject in some way. There should have been predictions about what the outcome should be then discussion of if those expected outcomes were met or not met and why that happened.
