The nuns "impressed" so many kids, that when these kids finally reached adulthood they left the Catholic
Church and finally were able to enjoy life .

Interesting comment, Catholics don't enjoy life?

Actually, having attended Catholic school from 1st grade through my BA, there were things I loved about Catholicism then (1953-1969) and things that I hated. Looking back, most of those things, both positive and negative, were the products of individual's minds, imaginations, characters and interpretations and probably had Protestant and JEwish counterparts and probably had more to do with having occurred during the 50s and 60s and rather than the Catholic milieu in which they took place.
