Needle fingers

oh my god.

I took myself out yesterday... and I forked over some money for a massage.

Today........I hurt.

that little needle fingered woman really did a number on my hips and shoulders.

It shouldn't hurt this bad ? Should it?

For my birthday last year, hubby arranged for me to have a massage from someone.. and I loved it.

And since then, I have been paying random people trying to find someone who did it as well as he did.
And I am about to throw in the towel.

I am not asking for much. Just someone who can rub me well. Ya know?

Dont hurt me. Dont go so fast I cant relax. Dont over do it.. just do it right, do it slow, and do it careful.

Im gonna have to hunt that man down in San Marcos and hold him hostage in my living room...

Now I know why people tell me " Once you find a good masseuse, you should never leave them"

When I was in physical therapy, the first couple times I had it done, I left so sore it was awful. It got better but I was there for deep tissue help. I was basically realigning my back muscles and loosening them, "reteaching" them to hold my spine in a better position.

It depends on what massage you got. Deep tissue hurts, no doubt about it.

A regular Swedish shouldn't make you sore.

You'd know. You pay more for it I think.

What Bella said is true.

You shouldn't hurt after a basic Swedish massage. Sometimes it can hurt a little during the massage if they work on a particular spot that's giving you trouble. But the end result is to relieve pain and stress, not cause it.

Did you tell the woman you were having a specific problem in the area that hurts now?

OK then, she was just BAD.

Laughing

(sorry)

See if you can get a doctor to recommend someone. That's what I did, and my masseuse is pretty close to perfect. She's nationally certified and understands all about my back problems (scoliosis.) I go every other week, and it has made a huge difference.

I think the best massage I ever had, though, was in a hotel in Aruba. The masseur had great hands...not too hard, not too soft. It can take awhile to find someone with just the right touch. Keep looking.
