Resigning? If your concern truly is "the taxpayers' expense" that doesnt make any sense at all. Elections are seriously expensive to organise. Aside from the tendency of meaningful governance being mostly suspended during the campaign.

Is that why all these presidential candidates are now wasting our money? I mean the primaries are a year away and they are already trying to get elected. In the mean time have they been voting on anything?
