Oh goodie...
Can I see the first one bigger?
Love those two, looking forward to more...
Thanks for commenting on mine, soz.
bitch
I'm sorry, soz. I didn't mean to hurt you.
No, I did not take that.
And I will never call you a bitch again.
You didn't even take it? How is that your diary?
Let's see if this one is bigger.....
I didn't know you had to take the photos to qualify for this thread.
<backs out with dignity>
That's bigger.
Really cool.
Nice hip bones, Boomer. Perfect for keeping you balanced and upright.
Thanks, all.
I've been promising myself to keep some kind of journal but I find the habit hard to get into - everything I write down seems so trite that I just rip it up. I thought I might try doing it with images as a starting point for each entry and see what happens.
Plus, it seems my photos have gotten a bit stale and predictable and this opens the door to play a little bit.
I thought I might share some of the "quiet" parts - the images - as a way to make myself do it.
Those weren't stale and predictable at all.
They definitely had the boomer style though.
Truly, I love looking at your photos and feel extremely lucky that you share them -- they're often inspiring, in the sense of getting me to take more and more interesting pictures, but I also plain just like looking at 'em.
Boomer--
Thanks so much for starting this diary thread. I really love the first pic. I've seen some of your work, and this will be a thread to watch.
<smiles at artist>
Yes.
More boomer pics.
Did you know how often you cross my mind during the day? That i even have silent confidence booster conversations with you sometimes before I start taking pictures of kiddos..
I too will be watching this. closely.
You are all too nice. Thank you.
I have really been enjoying the visual excercise of trying to illustrate my mood by using my camera and playing with the images in photoshop in new ways.
Today:
Evocative.
Would love to get more background, but interesting as something totally stand-alone.
It was a joint effort between Mo and me to illustrate the idea of "globe-trotting".
