Re: ENGLISH TO LATIN SENTENCE TRANSLATION
you are forever in my heart
is
In corde meo semper estis

mum,dad,nan
is more of a problem
The Latin informal words for mother and father seem to have been
"mamma" and "tata"
I assume "nan" refers to a grandmother. I cannot find the Latin equivalent.
The formal word are:
Mother = Mater
Father = Pater
Grandmother = Avia

Latin Translation
Thanks for the translation I really appricate it. I am getting a tattoo in latin, in memory of my family i wonder if you could translate "MUM DAD AND NAN ALWAYS IN MY HEART" Please, This is slighty different but i think this sounds better with more meaning. Thanks if you can help me. Smile

Well since I only know the informal words corresponding to Mum and Dad,
I can suggest three ways:

1. Using the informals
MAMMA, TATA ET AVIA SEMPER IN CORDE MEO

2. Using the formal words for mother and father
MATER, PATER ET AVIA SEMPER IN CORDE MEO

3. Using the English words as themselves
MUM, DAD ET NAN SEMPER IN CORDE MEO
