I have a translation of my name in Hebrew but am unsure as to whether or not it is accurate. If someone could please translate the name "Evan" into Hebrew I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks!

Maybe a proper name would not have a direct translation.

For instance, what's Welsh for Avi or Schlomo? I don't know btw.

(after surfing)

Evan is John, so it should be easy

Evan - (EV-ahn) Welsh form of John. Ioan (YOH-ahn); Ianto (YAHN-toh); Iwan (YEW-ahn); Eoin, Ieuan (YAY-ahn)

Had another look around.

John is the same as Iain and means "God is gracious", apparently.

The Hebrew name with that meaning is given as Yochanan or Johanan

Any other offers?
