I just started this pill a month ago, and I am not sure I like it. I have tried a million pills and I always had break through bleeding. I was on yaz before this and liked it besides the bleeding all the time. With this one I had the worst side effect. Nausea, headaches, gained weight, and extreme moodiness. Now I am concerned, I was supposed to start my period a week ago and nothing, and no sign of it coming. Is this normal?
I have read a lot of these postings and none of them say a missed period. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, but I am still worried.
I called the Dr. and she didn't seemed too concerend but I am freaking out.
I went from bleeding all the time to nothing at all. Very weird.

I have taken birth controls pills for years and sometimes I have skipped a period. It definately caused my periods to be shorter and not as heavy. Fortunately for me I have no other side effects.

If you have been taking the pill as prescribed it is over 99% effective and missed periods can be a side effect. So your doctor is probably not concerned seeing 99% is pretty good odds.

Doctors won't become concerned until you've missed a period...and by miss they mean you don't get one at all for a whole month. If your next scheduled period rolls around and you get it, everything is hunkey dorey. If your next scheduled period rolls around and you don't get it, then they will want to check you out.
