I UNDERSTAND POMEGRANATES AND ANTI-CHOLESTROL DRUGS may not mix.

Compounds called furanocoumarins inhibit a gut enzyme, meaning the body absords more of the medication.

A surprising number of foods and drugs do not mix. Grapefruit is contraindicated for almost any combination.

I am currently taking Simvastatin, which is an anti cholesterol drug and the only thing I was advised not to consume by my doctor is Grapefruit Juice and Alcohol.Never heard of the Pomegranates,I do not eat them in any case.
