....if we don't get our hands on a Wii soon!

Ok, I'll admit it....I'm a Nintendo geek. Always have been. Always will be. Never enjoyed PS much. Was a whiz at Nintendo (the original) back in the day. It's Mario, really. I have a thing for short guys in overalls and bushy mustaches.

No one has any in stock. No one knows when they are getting them in. I am NOT paying $400+ for one on ebay. And I am not camping outside the store to get one. I guess I will have to wait. Til what, 2010? Rolling Eyes

Nintendo is pretty damn smart...these suckers came out in Nov 06 (?) and there is still this huge hype. Smart indeed.

Anyone have this system? And do you like it? Is it as fabulous as they make it sound?

GameCrazy in my neighborhood has been taking pre-orders for April delivery. You might check with them.

We don't have one yet either but I'm looking forward to getting one eventually.

Ok so you get 7 games....Even at $50 a piece ($350), you end up paying $492 for the freaking console!!!!!

I have a wii. It's awesome. The positional controller works better than you could ever believe.

Have you checked Craigslist? It's the place to get sh*t yaknow, fast and easy. I paid 3 bills for mine the week it came out from a fellow on CL - figured it would be best to get in early, and I was right.

I am really po'ed now.

I am on this "in stock" alert list (I know, pathetic, huh?) and I was busy actually working and when I checked my email 11 minutes prior, Amazon had the console in stock for the normal $249 price....it sold out in less than 10 mintues. And of course, I didn't get there fast enough. Mad

Ok, wish me luck.

This Sunday 2 seperate places are getting stock. One opens at 10a, the other at 11a. So...my plan is this:

I refuse to stand outside for 2 hours. I will wait an hour. Razz

So at 9:00a I am going to go check out the scene. If it looks ridiculous, (like 100 people in line) I'll go down the street to the other place. If that is out of control, I guess its just not meant to be.

But wish me luck that it's 1) decent out. And 2) I get my Wii.

Actually, scratch that....my first plan is to try another place that says Friday has a good shot of getting some in.... THEN if that doesn't work, on to plan B. The waiting plan.

God I am pathetic.

Nah, not pathetic at all. Just know a good thing when you see it.

I got a copy of 'Smooth Moves' which is amazingly fun. That, bowling, Zelda, and Billiards are the party favorites so far.

And surfing the web! And looking at my digital photos (that one blew my mom away, sheesh!)
