I saw on something on TV that said you could put a caricature of your
own features on the action figures playing the games.

Is that true? Did you do that? I think that would be pretty funny!

This is true. They call it a 'Mii' and it stores your personal records, etc.

I have about 20 of the little guys; they are all modeled on my friends who have come to play.

The cool thing is that eventually, some of them will wander around to other people's systems and play as computer-controlled opponents for other folks, with my skill levels set. Awesome feature.

Ok, I've gotta ask this. My 16 year old (and my still at home 20 year old) are really itching for me to get a wii. Now that it has been a couple months Bella (or anyone else), do you still think it is well worth it? Just curious before I run out and buy one.

I don't think you can get one still.

Every place I've seen is still sold out.

But yeah, I still think it's worth it.

(they don't seem to be quite as difficult to find in Ontario as some areas of the U.S. - various colleagues of mine mention buying them every so often - bit of searching, but they've all managed to pick one up)

I've got a couple of places I have seen them in stock near me. Both the nearest Circuit City and a nearby EB Games has them, so I don't think it will be too tough to get one. Of course, I could be wrong. Maybe if I wait long enough, they will be out of stock and I can avoid buying one just a little bit longer. lol

They are a lot of fun. I even got my parents and my in laws to play on it.

Just thought I would touch back and let you know I got one. And you are right Bella, the bowling is quite fun. I also had fun creating my mii. Er, I should say my wife had fun giving suggestions as I created my mii.
