Circuit City had it in stock...the bundle only, which is fine since I was planning on buying the extra remote (for two players) and the nunchuck anyway.

And I didn't pay more than $249 for the console. I did, however, have to pay for shipping which sucked. But....it saved me the time of standing in line and possibly not getting one this weekend so I think it was worth it.

Actually, that would have been the smart thing to do. Then I could have sold the damn thing for profit.

They are going for anywhere from $350- $500 on ebay right now, just for the console. Dammit. They are all sold out already so that idea is out. In the midst of my excitment, I didn't think clearly.

Perhaps it IS worth my time to go stand in line this weekend and see if I can get one. $100-200 for one hour of my time is SO worth it.

It's kind of funny - I've had mine since thanksgiving, it's a little weird to see people still going through the same hurdles I had to jump through - more! - to get it right away. Speaks to the popular appeal and word of mouth of the machine.

I downloaded Kid Icarus today. It's awesome. I have a whole list of games that I can't wait for them to release on the VC.

It's still hard to get controllers, nunchucks... I'd buy a couple of Wavebird controllers if I were you. THere's a whole ton of Gamecube games out there which work just fine if you have the controller... and they are cheap as hell.

On the truck for delivery! Whoo hoo!!

I also managed to score myself a points card last night....crazy that I got the last one in stock....when of course, no one else had any.

Also got myself a second nunchuck so now we have 2 controllers and 2 nunchucks for group play. Hmmmm, sounds dirty....

If you have a CC you don't need a points card - you can directly do it.

I found a new channel last night - 'everybody votes.' It's fun!
