I want to write about Germans immigrants coming to Argentina after war. Any information will be appreciated.
Wikipedia.com
Start by typing the keywords Argentina and history in Wikipedia.com
(I don't think, the above advice will lead to any appropriate results.)
That depends on which war you mean a lot.
Especially during the years the 1970/1 war more Germans emmigrated to Argentina than to the USA (up to 250,000 per year!).
After WWI and WWII due to the social situation in Germany and due to the fact that quite big German colonies already excisted there, some more emmigrated again to Argentina.
After WWII, these immigrants became especially natble because several Nazis were among them.
So, perhapps, you are thinking about period.
A good source (probably the best, since with a great biography) is:
Schönwald, M.: Deutschland und Argentinien nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Politische und wirtschaftliche Beziehungen und deutsche Auswanderung 1945-1955, (= Sammlung Schöningh zur Geschichte und Gegenwart), Paderborn 1998 (in German, as you may notice).
The main immigration from Germany, however, was from 1820 onwards until about 1890.
Welcome to A2K, btw, facuarg2007!
