Nifong for President

As we all know the two front runners for the Democrat Presidential nomination are Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton. Objective evidence suggests that Field Marshall Rommel was given a better choice when Hitler demanded that he choose between a cyanide cocktail and a trial for treason. On the surface, going to trial doesn't sound that bad. Of course Hitler's judicial system and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals had a lot in common.

A judiciary that valued ideology over justice meant that the end result of a trial by the Nazi Kangaroo court would be that the good Field Marshall, his staff, his wife, and his children would be handed over to the Gestapo. These original men in black would then do the sort of things to the condemned that would make the Spanish Inquisitors blush with admiration. To spare those around him the discomfort of torture and death at the hands of the vicious yet suprisingly fashion forward enforcement arm of the Nazi party, Rommel drank the poison. It was the sort of thing an honorable man does when forced to choose between two evils. Of course, given the choice between the cyanide and spending time with Obama or Clinton, Rommel would have probably made the same decision.

Hillary and Barak are currently trying to position themselves as moderates. This is sort of like a tape worm trying to position itself as an aerospace engineer. Oh sure, an intestinal parasite could probably pull off a lawyer, DNC chairman, or CBS News correspondant, but anything in the engineering field might be too advanced for a creature that is used to feeding on digested King Dongs and take out Chinese food.

Hillary's time in the White House during her husband's presidency is marked by a verifiable track record of far left policy preferences as well as the distinction of being the only woman in DC Bill was not trying to get his freak on with. Her time in the Senate reveals a voting record that would get a thumbs-up from Karl Marx, Fidel Castro, or the boys who run NOW. By her own admission, she indicated she was too clueless to believe that her husband (who has a long track record of extramarital gymnastics) was using interns in a way that breaks all sorts of OSHA regulations.

Barak Obama (or as Senator Kennedy calls him, Osama Obama) does not have the long record in public life that his rival, Hillary, has. However, in his short career he has established a voting record that would make Tip O'Neil proud. Add to this some rather compelling evidence that suggests young Obama was schooled in a place where your prom date has a bomb strapped just below her corsage, and you have a candidate who would need the services of Halliburton to build a bridge between where he is and the territory where the tepid and timid moderates feel comfortable. Ted Kennedy's Freudian slip was a rare moment in time when he hit the nail on the head.

Instead of Democrats pretending they want a middle of the road type as their presidential candidate, they should simply be intellectually honest and nominate Mike Nifong as their entry into the Presidential race. He is the embodiment of everything that liberal's value.

Mike Nifong and his rape case against the students of Duke University are, in a microcosim, what the Democrats and their allies in the media have become. First of all, this had nothing to do with justice and everything to do with a power grab. Nifong had an election coming up, and needed a hook to retain his position. When the baseless accusation against the students came across his desk, he didn't care that the evidence didn't support the charge. He even ignored the the statements made by the partner of the dancer that contradicted the rape story. All he saw was a black dancer and rich, white students. He knew that he would get some serious traction from the black voters if he threw these kids under the bus.

By playing both the race and class card, he took a page from the DNC playbook. Democrat candidates routinely try to use the black vote the way most people use a step ladder when election time comes around. They speak in terms that hint that a vote for Republicans is a vote for turning the clock back to the days when cotton was picked by folks who were sold into slavery by their African tribal leaders. Of course Democrats usually fail to mention that it was a Republican President (Lincoln) who waged a war to free the slaves. The also neglect the fact that in no other point in history has a military lost so many lives in order to free an oppressed people. Most of those who died to win that freedom were of the Caucasian variety.

What were the Democrats of that era doing at the time? After the disaster at the first Bull Run, they began to oppose the war, and President Lincoln became more and more unpopular. Democrat members of the judiciary also came up with such decisions as the one where the Supreme Court sent a runaway slave, named Dredd Scott, back to his master in the south. Today, they are still trying to ride on African American's backs to victory in much the same way that a jockey rode Barbaro to a Kentucky Derby victory (we all know how that ended).

Democrats harbor a deep sense of racism that only comes out when they think they are off the record. A prime example of this would be when Howard Dean made the following statement: "You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people of color in a single room?," Dean asked to laughter. "Only if they had the hotel staff in here." Apparently the party of empowerment thinks African Americans are only qualified to be bag boys, room cleaners, and cooks; not something more lofty, like Secretary of State or a Supreme Court Justice. Much like Nifong, how they really feel won't stop them from using black voters like a Craftsman tool from Sears.

Nifong also made the choice to persecute kids that came from upper middle class and wealthy families. This is not unlike the constant Democrat drum beat that the rich must be punished for the crime of succeeding. Let's ignore the fact that according to the Federal Budget Office and the New York Times, the people who have an income in the top 1% pay 36.7% of the all federal income taxes. Those who qualify as the poor don't pay any income tax at all. Without the wealthy in this country, the social programs that the liberals put so much value in would either go unfunded, or they would have to take away the entire military budget to make up the difference. We all know how much Democrats would hate to take money away from the military to pay for Midnight Basketball.

Mike Nifong and the Liberal members of government also share the belief that they cannot win unless the game is rigged in their favor. In order to get an indictment against the Duke Lacrosse players, Nifong used a form of uneven justice that would be considered morally out of bounds in a wet t-shirt contest. He withheld exculpatory evidence from the Grand Jury, ignored the statements by the "victims" own partner that contradicted the account in the original charges, fixed the photo line-up so that only Duke Lacrosse players were presented to the girl who screamed rape (a standard line-up involves photos of the perpetrator as well as pictures of people completely unrelated to the crime. This is done as a way to protect people from exactly the sort of malicious prosecution that is happening to the guys from Duke). In the case of the latter, a kid was picked out of the line-up who wasn't even at the party at the time of the alleged assault. He was from Duke though, came from a wealthy family, and played on the lacrosse team. That was good enough for Nifong, and the kid was arrested on the word and ever changing story of a dancer/prostitute. The fact that real lives were ruined by this didn't matter as long as Mike got re-elected.

Nifong's actions were right in line with sort of minds in the Democrat party who cooked up the whole forged document story about President Bush, and helped their willing accomplices in the press tout this lie until somebody with ethics and a keen eye noticed that the documents the story was based on were forged.

Liberals don't stop at manipulating the media though, in pursuit of their goals, they are fine with committing real crimes as well. Democrat staffers tied to Maryland Senator Cardin pleaded guilty for illegally obtaining the Social Security number of the good senator's opponent, Michael Steele, and using it to conduct credit checks, and presumably other forms of background checks. The staffer admitted in court that she performed the crime under orders from her boss, and that she knew what she was doing was wrong. When one factors this crime in with the fact that Hillary has been disciplined by the FEC for accepting illegal campaign funds, Sen. William Jefferson's redefining of the term "cold cash" after the FBI found $90,000 in illegal funds in the senators freezer, the slashing of tires on buses intended to bring Republican voters to the polls, etc, one can conclude that cheating is right up the Democrat's alley.

This is just the tip of a very dark and skanky iceberg that shows that the law is something that these folks take about as seriously as Weird Al Yankovic takes Michael Jackson songs. The law of the land is something that is to be dismissed with a prissy little Frenchman's wave when it stands in the way of their goals.

Finally, Mike Nifong, like the Democrats, believe their actions are moral and above reproach. Even Mike (who is now off the Duke case and fighting to keep his legal license from being taken away for his actions against the obviously innocent and blindsided lacrosse players) maintains he did nothing wrong. This pattern is consistent with liberal thinking during those times when they are caught with their hand firmly in the cookie jar. When it was discovered that Dan Rather and his DNC friends cooked up the whole story about President Bush's military serviceÂ…they blamed Fox News, the vast Right Wing Conspiracy machine, and radio stations that refused to play Dixie Chick songs. They never accepted any blame on their own. To this day Dan Rather still defends the story.

Sen. William Jefferson is not only still walking around in an Armani suit instead of the orange jumper that most of us would be wearing under similar circumstances, but the possibility exists that one day soon the Democrat run Congress will give him back the committee seats he lost over his financial scandal, or even give him a committee chairmanship. There isn't time or server capacity to even get into the tax fraud issues surrounding Harry Reid, but in his opinion tax evasion seems to be a perk of his position.

The 12 headed Jack-ass that is the modern Democrat party should just be honest about who they are and nominate a candidate who best represents their core values and beliefs. Mike Nifong for President in 2008!

Just out of curiosity Gunga,

What do you think of the likely Republican nominees (that would be McCain, Giuliani, and Romney)?

Giuliani and Romney I could vote for easily, McCain I'd have to think really hard about if the party and candidate running against him were rational, e.g. if he were running Tony Blair. That unfortunately is not the case and I'd pretty much vote for Idi Amin over Hillary KKKlinton, who I assume will be running for the dems.

You do know that Nifong is being dealt with, is no longer at the helm of the Duke case and that it's old news right?

Not really. There are numerous villains in that story, the biggest being a group of about 90 Duke faculty and then again the common man in Durham NC who voted to return Fong to office after the realities of htis case were well known. As one blogger noted, " in Durham NC there exists a robust constituency for the politics of revenge and for prosecutorial misconduct".

Duke is faced with a situation with massive legal exposure and will have to clean its own house AND move if it wants to survive. Nobody in his right mind, particularly if he watched that 60-Minutes episode a couple weeks ago, would send a kid to ANY school in or even near Durham NC.

Durham NC is basically just a town in which the basic demokkkrat plan to turn the negro race into a hate group has come to fruition.

But America's problem with rogue DAs is much bigger than all/any of that. The job of DA itself is a magnet to psychopaths and needs to be abolished. We need to bag the entire adversarial system of justice and move to an inquisitorial system such as you see in France. The frogs have us on this issue. NOBODY should have any sort of a career or money incentive to put people in prison, anywhere, ever.

I wasn't expecting this response at all.

You may be surprised that I share your opinion of Hillary (I will still probably hold my nose and vote for her over any Republican).

Try asking yourself why Obama is making so much noise and none of the older dems are wanting anything to do with it. My money says Obama is simply young enough to have missed out being in Hillary's database, i.e. she doesn't really have anything or any sort of a handle on him.
