I just remembered this:

Joe Nation wrote:
"Huh," said a friend of mine, "five hours? That's the same time it takes me to play a round of golf with a little stopover in the clubhouse at the end."

Joe(Why didn't I think of that?)Nation

So if he expects to be out there for about 5 hours, and he's run for 3 hours and 41 minutes so far, and he has about 8 miles to go, at about 12 minutes per mile he has 96 minutes (1 hour 26 minutes) left, and 3:41:00 + 1:36:00 = 5:17:00!!

That looks good...

If my math is right, at 30K he had 7.56 (er, yep, about 8) miles to go. The finish is not too far after 40K. (I figure 42.2)

Martin Lel of Kenya out-kicked Abderrahim Goumri of Morrocco to win the
ING New York City Marathon in 2:09:04.

Yikes.

For certain values of "fun", I'd say yeah, he probably is.

Indeed.

And the woman who recently gave birth won, too. (Baby is 9 months old, I think... cool that she won.)
