I wonder if anyone could help me to find the Greek version (text) of Aristotle's "On the Motion of Animals". I spent so many days to look for it, but obviously I don't hit the proper sites. Maybe it needs to be searched with Greek words? (I don't know Greek.)

I would really appreciate if someone could help. Thank you very much in advance.

Thank you very much for the link, InfraBlue Smile . I tried it yesterday but did not have time to make research, and today it does not work. I am going to try back later on. Thanks again.

The link doesn't work? Hmm. . .

This is what it's supposed to lead to:

Aristotle's De motu animalium : text with translation, commentary, and interpretive essays
by Aristotle.; Martha Craven Nussbaum

Language: English Type: Book
Publisher: Princeton, N.J. : Princeton University Press, 1978.
ISBN: 0691072248 9780691072241 OCLC: 4005791

Try looking up the title, Nussbaum's name, or ISBN on WorldCat. If you put in your zip code the website will give you a list of the nearest libraries that carry the book.

Thank you so much, InfraBlue Smile .

But if I see well, the book is in English. Also, I think I forgot to mention that I would like to find an Internet version, not an actual book. I would also like it to be in Greek language. Embarrassed

Thank you for all your help again.

The title of the book says "text with translation".

So, if the hardcopy book were available to you, you'd pass it up because you're looking specifically for something online?

Good luck.

I couldn't find Greek text online either, cello, just an English translation.

If it helps, the Greek for "On the Motion of Animals" is Περί ζώων κινήσεως
