Seriously, been busy as a beaver. Same schedule, same long commute. You?

Yet another embarrassing defeat at the hands of the Sodom Salt Statues... one step forward two steps back. Is this season over yet?

If anyone is a Fantasy Sports addict like myself, there's a fantasy game for the upcoming World Championship in Athletics, in Osaka, Japan, at the IAAF web page.
In the meantime, please note that Texas beat Baltimore in the 1st game of a double header this evening by a score of 30-3. 30-3. In Baltimore.
Had it only been a single game the attendance at the the end would probably have been around 10 people. 30-3. Awesome.

Baltimore also lost the second game of that double-header, 9-7.
It looks like none of the Baltimore pitchers were really whacked by a bad ERA; I guess they were all taken out about as fast as they went in (Cabrera?). I'm still digesting all of it. Man.

On Fantasy Athletics I'm right now 67th in the world, and at the top among Mexicans.

Finished in place 1770, and 11th among Mexicans.
But on the top 10 percent overall. It was a nice try.

George and I, in the battle of the fantasy teams dominated by the Red Sox, have this week in the playoffs. Woo hoo!
PS RP and I were at yesterday's game of the lads of the carmine hose. They were playing the state birds of Maryland. Victory was ours!

We have a nice match up between the Revolvers and the Statues... it could be anyones game.
Will the Revolvers de-thrown the champ? Will the Statues pull out yet another win?

Well, it appears the job of dethrowning the champs will fall to me ... a task I eagerly await. Good luck fbaezer.
Good effort George, and good luck to you next week in the fight for third.

Good luck to you, as well, Tico.
I'm afraid I wasn't much of a challenge.

It was a very tough week, I concede. Jack's choice of Burnett and I. Kennedy was a conundrum to me, and worked wonders for him.
This week will be tougher.
Let the best team prevail!

Five days left and it looks like Tico is starting to pull away with it.
We may have a new champion on our hands. fbaezer come from behind before though so this could be a close finish yet.

I have a Phillie pheeling!
Did not expect it.
But, unlike the Mets, Tico played very very well and I was just lucky.
