A back from my first real visit to the Cape (taking my son to sailing/marine bio "camp" at Woods Hole does not count as a visit).

As someone who hates chain establishments of any kind, the Cape is littered with them. Does every home town in America need its own Bernie and Phil's, its own Starbuck, its own Gap? Sigh.

But, loved the exquisite small houses and the clever way that people created rental space. Loved that the ocean was so near.

Was a tad frightened by the signs of right wing America. Maybe they go with the chain stores.
