story developing... man I always had a major hard on for her....next to squinney I thought she was about the hottest thing going....
What the...
Was her son... who recently died... her only heir?
No, she has the infant daughter, who presumably wouldn't come into the money for another 18 years, right? Some sort of trust?
Are there any other children?
Wikipedia says that her recent marriage wasn't legally binding.
So where does the money go now?
(Both mother and adult son collapsed under suspicious circumstances... yes I'm getting way ahead of myself but...)
Wasnt that Howard Stern (her attorney) the baby's pop?
I never found her even moderately attractive because she had to be one of the dumbest women around. I still cant remove that picture of her when she weighed over 200 pounds .
Too bad though, she was kinda like some fat biker bitch who lucked out .
She was a person who was in a lot of emotional pain for most of her life. I hope she is allowed to rest in peace now.
This article says that the paternity is disputed:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070208/ap_en_tv/anna_nicole_smith
Quote:Meanwhile, the paternity of her now 5-month-old daughter remained a matter of dispute. The birth certificate lists Dannielynn's father as attorney Howard K. Stern, Smith's most recent companion. Smith's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead was waging a legal challenge, saying he was the father.
Debra Opri, the attorney who filed his paternity suit, said Birkhead "is devastated. He is inconsolable, and we are taking steps now to protect the DNA testing of the child. The child is our number one priority."
Don't you think that one-two thing is suspicious? Remove heir. Remove rich person. Money goes to...?
Meanwhile, poor little baby... :-(
Actually, maybe she doesn't even have all the money I thought she did. I thought the court ruling was in her favor, but seems like it was more ambiguous than that.
I'll sure agree on worry about the baby. And whate'er Anna Nicole Smith's courage or culpability, I'd rather that that is not resolved by death.
This is a tangent - but why would you be surprised with that from me?
My mother used to hang out with girlfriends from the studio, among them gladys baker, marilyn monroe's mother, a film cutter. I've a picture of them roller skating in the thirties at what was either santa monica or venice beach.
This woman has been, apparently, multiply likened to Monroe. I dunno..
However it happened, it was early and young, and good luck to the baby.
my boring morning radio guy had the best line so far
"she always wanted wanted to be like marilynn monroe, and now she is"
I just read a poll where people speculated on the real cause of her death...
32% Alcohol
24% Drugs
17% Shot by harpoon
