Ye'll tak' the high road,
An' I'll tak' the low road,
An' I'll be in Scotland afore ye
Where me and my true love
Were ever wont to gae
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.
(sob)
Okay, McTag, You can tak the road all you want, but the least you can do is spell my name with a capital T.
McTag -- I think I am taking the high road. Flying anyway.
CI................... McTak?
Close: TakNomura. Rymes with an Irish name. They call me a sun-tanned Irish.
TakNomura's Band!
That's a good one!
"Oh, me name is TakNomura, I'm the leader of the band
In all the breadth of Ireland we're the finest in the land......"
I'll tak- no- more o' that Jimmie !!
Japanese American Irish folk band to play at Celtic Park, Glasgow.
All tickets £5. Including medical insurance (strongly advised) £350.
Piff, have a great time in Bonnie Scotland and if Gautam lets me know the venue, we might see you in London.
As a wonderful introduction to the quaint Olde Worlde ways of that fine town Edinburgh, I can thoroughly recommend the movie Trainspotting...on second thoughts, stick with the Scottish Tourist Information office.
Any refunds if NOT knocked out during the gig ?
Steve, Hiama - have just opened a thread with the venue/time !
Oh, come. How often do you get to meet a friendly and genuine Seattleite? Plus, Guatam has found a great place with a bar and promises to sing a bit. What ELSE would you do with a Friday night?
<okay, that's all the begging I'm doing
>
Trainspotting? I saw part of it and thought it was too gritty for me.

Yep, sounds gritty. Was that in Edinburgh? Omigod.
Sing ? Moi ? Dahling, I have invited you to a Indian joint, not to my shower cubicle !!
Rats. Thought I'd sneak that one by you.

Yeah so where's the link? I'm not used to doing things for myself you know.
McT
A2K London Meet IV
See, I will go to any lengths to meet the McTags again (specially Fiona
)
Actually Trainspotting is a brilliant film (well I though so anyway) I really wish I hadn't mentioned it in the same breath as Edinburgh - it really is a fine city. And the capital city of Scotland (apparantly) but like all capital cities it has it rough bits...'nuff said.
McTag. I found the link within seconds...all on my own....nerrr!

I'm sure it is and it's probably not as graphic as I remember. I get upset watching a film and won't sit still to see how it ends. Very unamerican of me - I never became inured to violence.
Piff, if for some reason I don't get back here before you take flight and have a splendid time, be aware that I send you virtual soothing lotions and footrests and great walks afore them.
Thanks, Ossob. Soothing lotions? Nice!
