@CalamityJane,
Thanks very much, Jane. That is a good site! Lots of good cauliflower ideas. I'm considering mousse de chou-fleur (baked, cauliflower custard). Sounds pretty flash, doesn't it? Wink

@CalamityJane,
Just saw your photo. Gulp. I will be attempting one of the two suggestions this weekend. Thank you.

@CalamityJane,
I liked that fellow's website, CJane. Added it to my growing list of "flogs".

Yeah, I like that website myself very much.
MsOlga, did you try the mousse de chou-fleur? It does look so tempting, doesn't it?

@CalamityJane,
Yes, I did try it, Jane. I suspect is was slightly "less perfect" as a result of my adjustments to a smaller quantity of cauliflower (than in the recipe). But one person can eat only so much cauliflower in one week. Wink It was pretty good, anyway. Thanks again for that link. I'll definitely refer to it again!

did you miss the episode when I first roasted cauliflower - ate it with a dip of fresh horseradish and heavy cream? I ate 1.5 large heads of cauliflower from Friday nite til mid-day Sunday. I've never been able to replicate that - but I am a bit of a cruciferous veggie hound.

@msolga,
We had the mousse de chou-fleur tonight. It was delicious! Best part is: a small amount fills you up! Unfortunately, we did have room for some ice cream.

@solipsister,
Mashed potatoes... maybe with something else mixed in with them. Gravy from the meat juice. (I like gravy sans thickening, but that's me..) Some crunchy cold vegetable, mmm, fennel slices?
