Since even the rich pay property taxes, is somebody trying to claim they are slaves too? LOL

If we're still talking about god's approval of slavery, you don't understand the definition.

Does slavery still go on?

http://library.thinkquest.org/10949/fief/lofeudal.html

Are we one step away from this? Did you know that there is no law that requires you to pay or file for Federal Income Tax and yet everything you have could be seized and you thrown into prison if you don't?

Yes, it's called breaking the laws. Not paying taxes in most developed countries is a crime. How do you think our government pays for our schools, military, and infrastructure? There's no free lunch.

Great. Cite the Law that requires me to file for income tax.

Watch that film and see.http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1656880303867390173

Not one cent of the Federal Icome Tax goes to any of those things.

Roads are paid for by the Gas tax, The military budget is exactly the same as the LEGAL tax apportioned to CORPORATE gains and profits.

Not from the ILLEGAL income taxation of WAGES. We are forced to pay and give account even if a law does not require us to do so.

It's a shake down.

I challenge anyone here to cite the law that requires me to file for my Federal Income tax. If you can't...what law is broken?

No free lunch? lol

The laws are self-perpetuated when the employer deducts taxes from your pay. If the IRS is aware you are liable for taxes and do not pay, see what happens. Good luck.

You ever try to get a job without your social security number? If so, who's the employer? If you're not breaking the law, you shouldn't be shy about telling us you don't pay taxes, and who your employer is.

Show us you're not breaking the law. Put your money where your mouth is.

Don't say there is no free lunch in the face of that list silly. You are incapable of citing any law that requires an American citizen to file for their Federal Income taxes.

Being thrown in prison is evidence that what? A Law is broken? Which? Should be easy to cite then. Or it could be evidence of something else...

I have not filed for Federal Taxes. I'm Self Employed. You pay under the unlawful threat of imprisonment (duress)? Free r u?

I can't prove there is no law (prove a negative). Can you prove there is (a positive)?

You need to. lol

The 16th gave no new power of taxation and only allowed taxes to be derived from corporate gains and profits not personal wages from labor.

There are 2 forms of taxation. Direct and Indirect. Which is the Federal Income Tax?

IRS agents even agree in clip above. In May 2008 a new law will go into effect showing you how free we are.

Bart - You still haven't provided who is the slave driver in your theory. I won't argue the equity of taxes with you because I don't nessisarily disagree it's not fair. However, it's a lousy arguement to make that we are all slaves.

Who cracks the whip? Who is excluded from the penalties you list? Salvery is meaningless without a slave driver. So who?

Otherwise it's just a recursive loop of illogic.

Another interesting link. Only Congress has the power to coin our money.

http://whistleblowers.freehosting.net/federal_power.htm

How do we feel about freedom? What is our freedom worth to us? If we continue down the path of the status quo.......oops.

This quote get's me:

" At this point, the owners of the FED already profit $99.97 for every 3c they invested to print the money. Basically, they exchange something that costs almost nothing to them with the US Government Bonds.

Since the FED can NOT be AUDITTED by the IRS (or even by Congress), most of this profit can go anywhere the FED owners want to. BTW, did I mention that the profit is TAX-FREE?

After buying the bonds, the owner of the FED can either:
1. Keep the bonds, and collect the interest the US Government now OWES them.
2. Sell the bonds to the US Tax Payers or foreigners.

In either case, the FED owners have profitted $99.97 for every 3 cents it invested to print the money. Remember, the FED is a PRIVATELY OWNED corporation, just like the Federal Express. The profit of the FED goes to the FED owners.

The US Government now owes the FED owners the interest on those bonds. Remember that the FED owners DO NOT EARN the bonds. They simply PRINT the money to buy the bonds. In other words, they created money out of thin air, and exchange it for the interest bearing bonds.

In order to pay for the bonds' interest, the US Government taxes the US population.

That would be what our individual worker FEDERAL INCOME TAXES pays for!

Who cracks the whip. No whip crackin needed.

What is sad is slaves used to be able to at least try to..................run.

We have 130 bases in a total 160 countries.............Who is the "WE"?

It's clearer than ever why Jesus said to love one another.........do unto others....etc.

From another thread on a2k.

http://www.adn.com/news/politics/fbi/story/9179115p-9095789c.html

Quote:
Federal law enforcement agents are currently searching the Girdwood home of Alaska U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens, an FBI agent said.

"All I can say is that agents from the FBI and IRS are currently conducting a search at that residence," said Dave Heller, the assistant special agent in charge of the FBI's Anchorage office. The search began this afternoon, he said. It's the only such search warrant currently being served, he said.

Yeah thanks....I mean who better to ask whether Americans are required to file than the IRS?(the institution that would cease to exist without Federal income tax) I still do not see the statute or law that requires it though......do you?

Let me know if you do. IRS agents have been looking for years to no avail.

Fact is....still no law or statute has yet to be cited. booyah

In essence it's simple....if a person refuses to file their 1040.....what specific law or statute has been broken? I'm sure that link will tell you....

have fun.

Bartikus, Send me your real name, social security number and address, so I can report you to the IRS, since you claim they have no authority to collect taxes. Send it by PM.

If you don't, you're only shooting a lot of bull shite here. Are you afraid? I'll wait 24-hours. If I don't hear from you, we'll all know you're full of it.
