There was considerable fraud and extortion in the tax business during Jesus day, but his statement to the religious leaders regarding taxes makes good sense whether you are a believer or not.

Bartikus, Send me your real name, social security number and address, so I can report you to the IRS, since you claim they have no authority to collect taxes. Send it by PM.

If you don't, you're only shooting a lot of bull shite here. Are you afraid? I'll wait 24-hours. If I don't hear from you, we'll all know you're full of it.

You send yours first......otherwise.....besides.. I only asked what federal law, code , ordinance or whatever requires it. Not sure if I said they had no authority?!

If the IRS wanted to find my identity....they would not need any of the info you asked for anyways. Just point them to the site. They can get record of my ip and locate me easily.

I was working and engaging in other life activities. Just for the record again...I only asked to see the law that requires federal income tax/filing.

I just always thought there was one. No biggee.

If you don't own the wages of your labor..........?i don't know.. ConfusedI never defined slavery as you have. Breathing air?....what?

If the reason we file is because and only because the threat of imprisonment and not because a legally passed and citable law is in place........Is that freedom? Sounds like something else does'nt it?

Am I nuts for asking these questions? Now I remember why I stopped coming here. Sorry guys if I ask hard questions.

Listen. Maybe I'd give your arguement for slavery if we didn't keep our wages, but the truth is that no matter how much "they" take, we still keep a portion for ourselves. If they took it all, then and only then would you have a real case. If they took our freedom with debters prison, perhaps again, but not until then.

I don't pay my taxes out of fear. I'm sorry you do. Are you crazy for asking these questions, no. You're crazy for the conclusions you draw.

Bartikusis a fraud. You don't need my name or anything else; we have filed our income taxes for all the years we have worked.

You're the biggest fraud on a2k. Good going!

Actually, whoever reports fraud-Bartikus to the IRS, the reward can be quite handsome if he has failed to file income tax returns as he claims for all the years he has earned income. Since he provided the information on how the IRS can contact him through his ISP, somebody should report this criminal.

Tax Report: Legislation Raises the Rewards for Tips Uncovering Big Fraud

By Tom Herman, The Wall Street Journal

December 20, 2006
BLOWING THE WHISTLE on tax dodgers may soon be more rewarding.

Legislation expected to be signed into law today by President Bush authorizes the Internal Revenue Service to pay higher rewards to many informants in cases involving large amounts of money. The reward could be as much as 30% of what the IRS collects, a Senate Finance Committee summary says.

My IP address is right now reporting my location in Taipei. lol I'm not required to file for a 1040 since I'm not employed and I am a ward of the State silly.

I'm am a disabled male 35 with Polycythemia Vera, Renal Tubular Acidosis, Hypercalcemia, Hyperuricemia, Gout, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and middle stage renal (kidney) failure.

I have 5 children one who is in intensive care suffering from an unknown neurological disorder. I see 5-7 different specialists monthly and have passed over a hundred kidney stones the largest exceeding 13mm.

The greatest number of stones passed in one day being 12. I have been disabled since 5.

Why don't YOU report me CI and collect your "reward" that way everyone here at a2k can give you a thumbs up and tell you....Good going?

If you can't cite the law....why not just say so?.....pride?

With all the diseases I suffer from....I still realize others are suffering from even worse conditions.

God bless you CI!

Because life is precious... and god... and the bible...

At somepoint, I know a religious arguement shall be made. any second now.

Bart... I am compasionate towards your situation, but I'm not sure how it is relavant in your argument that we are slaves. Moreover, I am further confused about your claim being that you are in Taipei?

I do get to keep my wages. I hardly find taxes and wages to be a good litmus test for slavery. You're just trying too hard. say what you like, you're not going to convince me that Im' a slave.

I won't subscribe to an idea that makes everyone a slave and no one the slave driver. It's rubish.

Ok...as long as the Gov leaves some of your money after all taxation....your free. Especially in comparison to some nations really.

I never claimed to be in Taipei. Still no citation...

No cracking whip = no slavery / a cracking whip is the litmus test?

I don't think you claimed there was any federal law requiring a person to file for federal taxes....no. If you did...you did not specify under what section or provision said law could be found. Surprised Shocked

IF the law does not exist (for argument sake) do you think a person should be prosecuted or charged as a criminal? This is an honest enough question.

Legislation expected to be signed into law today by President Bush authorizes the Internal Revenue Service to pay higher rewards to many informants in cases involving large amounts of money. The reward could be as much as 30% of what the IRS collects, a Senate Finance Committee summary says.

More on this article includes:

"Some informants have complained about their treatment by the IRS. At a Senate Finance Committee hearing in 2004, a man dubbed "Mr. ABC," testifying behind a screen, said he worked for a "Wall Street investment bank" and tried to tell the IRS about "abusive" tax shelters. He said his experience with the IRS had been "extremely frustrating and discouraging," and that the IRS was "resistant to and suspicious of" informants.

The committee hasn't identified Mr. ABC, and Erika Kelton, a lawyer at Phillips & Cohen in Washington who says she represented him, declined yesterday to identify him.

A Senate Finance Committee aide says the new provision applies to a tipster with information involving a business or, in the case of an individual, someone whose gross income exceeds $200,000 for any year in question. In either case, the tip must involve taxes, penalties and interest of more than $2 million, the aide says."

How misleading of you to leave this out CI. I'm a fraud? lol

What's 15 to 30% of nothin CI?

Here you refer to me as a criminal in which you could possibly be charged for a form of defamation known as libel.
