'New Life' = Vita Novus. It may be simple however I'd still love some help... Can any one tell me if I've got this corect?
No you haven't. In Latin, as in many languages other than English, nouns have 'genders'. Masculine and feminine, assigned often in an arbitrary fashion. Well, German has neuter but we needn't worry about that here. Anyway, if you pair a noun and an adjective together, the genders have to agree.
You have paired a feminine noun, vita, with the correct adjective, bit it needs the feminine ending 'nova'.
So it's vita nova.
