deb, Thanks for the bilbies.

dj, That tiger cub looks suspiciously unfeline. What a cutie. Thanks for the bunny shot, the geese, and the robin pics. That last one is a mighty rotund boid.

@djjd62,
Love that neighborhood, dj. Brings back washes of memories, though I never lived in one exactly like it.

dj, Open country, rustic, wide open spaces. Seem idyllic, but all that space and no concrete make me noivous.

Black-headed munia (from Hawaii):

@djjd62,
Liked those photos too, dj. That all reminds me of my trip to participate in my 101 year old aunt's memorial near Lake Pond'oreille in Idaho - our family hiked around the property that her children now own, very rustic and satisfying. There was an old truck rusting away like a piece of found art. It was a different season than in your photos, but I can envision the similarities.

@djjd62,
Not familiar with the album, dj, but I like the cover. Here are hyacinth macaws on the wing.

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/spring%2009/DSC03358.jpg

Prolly something I shouldnee be picking up... looks a bit like a mealworm " but there are quite a few of them in the pond (tiny tiny pond)

And this " it’s not a mozzie type bug I don't believe " and it is quite pretty??? About 5mm long and all over the surface of the pond
