@djjd62,
Love you sis - have a fab time with L-boy and the girls - know JellyBean will have had a wonderful birthday. x

DjjD - oh, what a fantastic photostory - we all walked thru the woods with you - thanku so much. Loved that car - would love to know what it's story is. My wabbit has it's eye on the dandelion Wink Thanku - love photostories. Enjoy the rest of your evening Very Happy

I am too tired to post anything - I think that may be a first a? - my brain (there is one somewhere) is mushed - had to fire off some emails to social services and put a rocket up someones bahookie - am done in - oh my - strange feeling being "mad" on such a beautiful day - not used to feeling anger! Ha - shouldn't be talking, need to not think. Lalalallalaaaaaaaaaaaaaallala - Back to peace and serenity bubble now but, oof - body is crying out for sleep, or something. Dinner was good, brilliant to see my children together - boys being boys ... ninja's actually (I remembered BigBoy had been over this year once before, when we got the kittens) - all is now quiet at Chez Izzie and had a lovely evening. Hoping all have had a memorable and peaceful Easter Day.

Lovin' y'all. Nitey nite. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

@Barry The Mod,
GoodMorning Crew..........

thanks DjjD

oh Baz - lovely to switch on the laptop and listen to that tune.. bless you darlin'..... love that song.

Oh folksies - today is a gonna be a struggle physically - oooooooooof. Yesterday was lovely but prolly did a wee bit too much! I tell ya tho - swingball was a riot. I haven't laughed so hard since I was in a bicycle rickshaw going thru the streets of London with FQ late at nite. Hysterical.

BigBoy and "friendB" are meant to be coming by as his friend needs to use the internet to finish course work for his exams. S-boy is off school for another week and is wabbit sitting right now - "in the hood" - oh, he loves that wabbit.

Getting "creeping" phonecalls from Social Services at the moment - who gave them and the system so much power to be incompetent a$$holes. They have surpassed themselves yet again! Didn't think that was possible - but, they have. Hey ho.........

Bubble!

Be back in a bit - hoping everyone's gonna have a great day on Bank Holiday Easter Monday. We intend to here - 'tis another gorgeous day - off for a cuppa by the river xxxxx

@Rockhead,
Hey Crew

I'm not up for much right now.... no energy...... so sitting quiet for a bit and.....

OK " going for some real feel good factor " please watch this first one " made me cry - good cry!!! Take a regular person off the street, a wee Scottish gal, give her a place to shine, and watch her become a star " if only for herself, she got her dream..... you can hear her soul " you just never know what’s inside someone until you’re prepared to look and see...

I Dreamed A Dream " Les Miserables " Susan Boyle

I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame

He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came

And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live our lives together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather

I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed.

YES!
Bless her!

Who is not smiling now? " how great was she? Ohhhhh... and breathe.

And just for something that made us laugh............ a PaPa and Son... FAB entertainment!

So.... BigBoy isn’t coming over now and little fella is a little upset Sad and it’s just started to rain a little... Sad Sad

Anyhooooooooooooooooooo........ we’ve been looking at some pics together and now he’s playing the flute. He’s hoping that Tulip’s F-boy is coming back soon so they can go play together.

S-boy did a fine job of making a house a home for “WOBBIE” " YEP " the wabbit has been named " the votes were counted and WOBBLY WOBBIE WABBIT it is!

@sozobe,
Hey Soz Very Happy

Yep, he's eating really well - dandelions, spud peelings, cauliflower greens and lettuce Shocked His paw is doing a lot better and wounds appear to be healing - I don't know how fast he would be able to run tho if we let him out in the wild. The vet re-opens tomorrow so we may take him down and let the vet have a looksee.

Last nite, he sat in S-boys hood - quite content - just sitting there as the little fella watched a movie...

@Izzie,
So precious! Both of them.

Nasty weather here...my yards a mess...expecting more later. I have the boys home today so, I am making them put their time to good use so we can play this afternoon. I have cleaned out the garage again (it's constant) and put up their swing away baseball trainer and the pitch trainer so that we will be downstairs and have plenty to do while it is storming. They are cleaning out from under their bed and getting rid of clothes they won't wear.

I told them I would take them for icecream later if they will do that. Very Happy - bribery works.

Baseball games tonight rained out. So we have an evening off (SO THANKFUL!)

Easter was lovely spent it eating with family and laughing! It was great. The boys got candy out the wazoo...I have abstained from eating it...amazing self-contol. We'll see how long that lasts...

Had a cup of tea this morning and thought of you Iz. Thoughts are with you...hope you get to feeling better soon.

Hope all you Yabberers have a great day today. I am off again...got to finish doing.
hugs to all,
missy

@mismi,
Hi Mis and Iz and the rest of the crew - those photos are so so cute sis - I love S boy and Wobbie - just made me smile
I have been at Mum and Dads today - we played football and frisbee all afternoon in the big field - kids got filthy and were happy - so nice to all be together.
Off to Thorpe Park ( theme park) tomorrow for the day - that will be exhausting but fun.
Sis - call me if you need to download on the SS - or Social Services (not) - poor R boy - been let down again methinks.

Glad you had a night off from the baseball Mis - I am sure you needed to chill out - and treat yourself to a little choccie treat - it ie Easter after all

To the down unders - hope you had a good break and the new week treats you all well

Big hugs all

@Izzie,
Thank you so much for that Susan Boyle clip, Izzie. It was just what I needed this afternoon and yes, I had tears in my eyes.

Here's another one that most of you have probably seen but a friend emailed to me again today. And I watched the whole thing again. And it lifted my heart again. I defy anybody to watch it and not smile. (And I hope you're feeling better.)

@djjd62,
Morning crew, great photos again Izzie and djjd62, you're both professionals! Well another Easter gone by, fantastic weather in this part of the world, and plenty of chocolate eggs to show for it. Hope you all had a great Easter.

Desperately praying for rain now, 30 degree heat in late autumn is just to much, the major river in our State is at its lowest point ever and the huge lakes at the bottom end are almost dry! What a contrast to the northern part of our Country which is still flooded in many places. Off to town for a bit of shopping.

@Tai Chi,
She certainly was TC - I just watched it again - what a feel good factor. Can you possibly imagine getting up there and performing that, scared to death, no confidence in her ability - and to have that WOW factor... I cried again - it's a beautiful song - she sings it how I would love to sing it. M fave musical - words to feel with. Hope you had a wonderful Easter with hubby TC. Hugs gal x

Morning BEAgle - just going to settle down (sean and I haven't been well today - no no no, it wasnt my cooking <await comments from the BlueBoy> - sneezing, poudning heads, scratchy eyes..... headhurt is the worst - pain meds not touching it - little fella is in a pickle - love him. Hoping the hobbling is improving and you have a great day darlin - We have torrential rain - unbelievable -the plants will be rejoicing again

hugs and love ............ must go sleep. x

Interesting picture sequence. Thanks.

Reminds me of Hollis NH a bit, but the old farm equipment and the flatness of the terrain, and those vines in the trees don't seem to fit New England. Also I saw some silo's next to the houses and there aren't many silo's around here.

Northern Mid-West somewhere? Maybe Ohio or Iowa?
