Mars, as Holst wrote it, is war, Venus is the bringer of peace. I am hoping that (yeah a rabid idealist) that Mars in the sky is full of itself and will now pass on to be a diminishing light in the sky.
OK, dys, I understand. Me too.
Hey, olen.
I should have given credit. That's a song. I assume that you were in the Pacific theater of operations.
Venus..........hum...........
I'm all cooled off now, later when I get a chance, I'll change back into my legs..........but wow, that felt really good.

Mars
Maybe the next time Mars passes this close, there will be cities of earthlings on it enclosed in transparent domes.
"transparent domes" um i like that idea, think i will pass it on to a nun gone south.
letty: I couldn't hear the music, but I enjoyed it anyway. Yes, I was in both the Pacific and the European theaters.
Wow! Lola's coolin' off and I'm stutterin'.
Sorry for the double posts. Tried to delete it but I was too late.
Both theaters? Amazing, olen.
Yes Letty, a year and a half in each.
Populating Mars.
I can see geodesic domes covering several square miles each. There would be space enough for a city and fields of agriculture. What would make it all possible, would be the existance of water on the planet in sufficient quantities.
I have of late
But wherefor, know not,
Lost all my mirth
This goodly frame, the earth,
Seems to me but a sterile promontory
The air, look you,
This brave, o'erhanging firmament,
This majestical roof
Fretted with golden fire
While it appears no other to me
Than a foul, infested
Congregation of vapors . . .
What a piece of work is a man!
I'm late, I'm late, again!
"It is true greatness to have in one the frailty of a man and the security of a god."
and they go all the way to the floor
laugh, yes, Mac, feeling all better after my mad, mad fit. It was very exciting and I had a good time.......but ok, now I'm back to normal. And yes, my feet are on the ground once again.
Silk stalkings, Lola?
In my head I'm wondering what Lola was angry about.
sometimes, it's wiser not to say, Letty. But it's all better now and that's an excellent thing.
I think I had an overage of neuro-transmitters and they got all clogged up in the synapse......painful but exciting. blockage cleared, doin fine.
