If you look anything like that picture, then I would say that chopped liver would be an upgrade.

Why am I not in the mix?

What the hell is wrong with my Indy vs Saints pick?

What the fock am I? Chopped liver?

I have a sudden case of deja vu.

I'm doing singularly badly, having been correct on one game.

you missed the deadline my friend...

Okay, pay attention now to johnboy.

Pick the winners all the way to the end, the end I say, of the season.

Game (1): Indianapolis Colts @ Baltimore Ravens
Game (4): New England Patriots @ San Diego Chargers

Game (2): Philadelphia Eagles @ New Orleans Saints
Game (3): Seattle Seahawks @ Chicago Bears

Your first task is to predict the winners in those four games that will take place this weekend (1/13-1/14).

But, wait, there is more.

Before the start of the games this weekend, you must also predict who will prevail next weekend in the games between the winners of Games (1) and (4) and Games (2) and (3).

And then you must predict the winner of the Super Bowl Game itself. And Oh yes, just for a tiebreaker, suggest the total number of points the two teams will score..

Deadline is kick-off of the first game on Saturday.

Is this confusing?

I think I have a solution for this Gus situation. I say we honor his picks as long as he doesn't win.

Mr B just got tickets for Sunday's Bears-Saints game. He won't let me go because he doesn't want to have to spend the entire afternoon defending me from would-be attackers while I cheer for the Saints.

You are in luck because it so happens that I am free Sunday. Mr. B probably would not like it if he knew, but who says he has to know? Just tell him you want the tickets for you and a dear friend from out of town.

meanwhile, LaDainian is now travelling around in his waaaaaaaaaambulance.

jeezum crow, get over it already!!

you lost.
they won.
when teams win big games they celebrate.

instead of whining to the press, he should be busy with his team figuring out why they lost...

no, unfortunately I take great pleasure in cheering against the Bears. Years ago, he almost reconsidered his choice in a future wife when I laughed/cheered at the Bears missing a field goal that would win the game in the final seconds. I still get perverse pleasure watching them snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Ha! Vinny, nice to meet you.

This actually works out ok. He'll be at the game and I can cheer to my heart's content in my snuggly family room.

I'll be making a significant donation to the local food bank to make up for the guilt I feel in spending the equivalent of groceries for a family of four for a month on these tickets!

I understand, JPB. But who will protect you from the other Chicago A2Kers? We may need to reconsider your position as our chapter's president. I hasten to add.... we sincerely appreciate all you have done for us.
