Is this the headquarters for the Bears?

24 players have picked so far. 13 have Indy and 11 have ChicaGO.

I heard on the way to work this morning that the bookmakers have Indy by 7 points. Four of us who picked the Colts have them winning by less than 7. The sports talking heads say to take Chicago and the points.

As most of you know, I'm sans tv, but.. I've got - aside from ESPN and SI and occasionally Yahoo dotcoms --

http://fifthdown.blogs.nytimes.com/

I'm going to check that out, since I enjoyed a NYT blog on the US Open (tennis) last year with Michael Kimmelmann presiding.

Yahoo Sports' Gamechannel should have real-time stats.

I dunno where you get your albuquerque temps, realjohn! It's 36.3 °F / 2.4 °C here right now, and probably was something like 32 two hours ago.

I thought that seemed a little brisk for Albuquerque.

Oops, osso. The Weather Channel.com did not show 4 degrees. I mis-wrote the temp on my first attempt. It is now reporting 26, which is a bit closer.

It was twenty degrees off last time you reported, being 54 instead of 34 that day. Odd...

Sozlet's more excited than I am -- she's a real Chicago girl (born and 2/3 raised) and LOVED the opening TD return. (Speaking of 2/3, that's the ratio of football games she's seen this year that started with a kickoff return for a TD -- I had to try to convince her it's EXTREMELY unusual...!)

Whoops!

This is gonna be a fun, sloppy game...!

(I'll quit with the minute-by-minute commentary now...)
