I personally can find no justification at all for executing Hussein when in retrospect the U.S. is responsible for the majority of what he did.

I knew if I waited long enough someone would see and agree with my insane...er...I mean incredibly sound reasoning.

Sturgis, I can't argue with that, either.
In fact, I agreed with that particular statement last night when you posted it. (& thought so, before then)
But .... things got so er, colourful it seemed wise to stay right out of the conversation. Cowardly self-preservation in the wee small Oz hours! And, in my tiredness, I thought for a minute or so that Bear was referring to me as Miss Thing! Couldn't figure out quite what I'd done!Shocked
Oh my! Laughing

Yes, Sturgis, your premise is fatally flawed. Setanta said so. You may think you are a teacher of sorts but you can't even tie Setanta's shoelaces. Do you know why? He said so!!! If you need to,review the writings of the most brilliant sage on these threads-Settannta.

is that sarcasm?.......... wowie....I didnt't know sturgis was a teacher... have you received enlightenment via his gentle tutelage?

That doesn't sound like Sarcasm, that sounds like Possum....

I don't know, Bear!

That's why I was so confused at the time!

I think it was the Miss & ms connection, then the reference to estrogen (me being a person of the female gender), the fact that I had posted a little bit before hand & also the fact that it was very, very late here ...

All those bits put together, all at one time, & the heat of the moment ... & hey presto!: paranoia! Laughing

Good to see you msolga. I sort of wish I had kept cowardly and silent about the entire Hussein matter, seeing as how I always get clobbered when I go against BipB.

Sad thing is BipB has the hots for me and this is his way of disguising it...rampant sarcastic barbs. I've explained to him that although I am interested in bears, he is simply not doing it for me. Sure, he lured me in by starting a few threads on the late Iraqi; and then I leapt forward with nearly as much excitement as if I had been offered borscht and brown bread. When will I learn?

ya see that's the whole problem with these old queens... you pay them the slightest bit of attention and next thing you know they've created some romantic fantasy and you find yourself the object of unwanted desire.....awkward.... I belive I'll have another glass of wine......

No answer, I see, to my my earlier question about the return of whom?

I may just have to revive this old thread to find out!:

Here's the video
Here it is folks. I didn't watch the actual hanging (I learned my lesson after watching Nick Berg's beheading video). I did watch it long enough to verify that it is the actual video.

Bushies lube up and pretend you've accomplished something!

This is my first post up here, maybe my last, but I just wanted to plant this seed...

Isn't it ironic that Bushfeldeney dragged us into Iraq with invented stories of mushroom clouds, terrorists running amok, hatred for America, and impending doom? Now we're talking about leaving Iraq as those lies have become the unfortunate truth?

I would, quite frankly, rather have Saddam in power over what we've created.

"Bush," "Cheney," "Rumsfeld," and "fat-headed colossal failure" all mean the same thing to me. Maybe if I were a blind neo-con or an oil man I would feel differently.
