Weather can be just as brutal as wild animals--particularly since most of us live in areas where we're at the top of the food chain. You battered women have my sympathy.
I have an inch and a half of snow in the driveway.
The driveway is long and steep.
If I take the car down for the newspapers, I may not be able to get the car back up the hill. If I ditch the car, I'd have to walk up the hill--and beautiful, new-fallen snow can be treacherous underfoot.
I have to have my news fix before I even think of heading off for formal exercise.
